ive had my boxster now since october and apart from a few issues ,its been great but I have one major issue

its just to impractical ,but i want to keep it !

theres 2 solutions I sell it and buy a bmw coupe

or i get another car ,a run about that i can take to b&q or fishing ,and work when the weathers cr*p

but insurance is the issue ,my no cliams which is 9yrs is tied up in the boxster and I cant mirror my no cliams on another
car because I had a fault claim 2 years ago

now to insure say a 2001 306 hdi would be about 800quid and thats just too much ,same for say a 2002 td4 freelander (800)
I live in manchester (chorlton) and its a high insurance area but i am 41yrs old
or maybe a could get a mk2 golf gti and put it on classic but then its an old car and i want a runabout

now ive put this thread in the main forum because its not just about insurance

suggestions greatly appreicated

Buy something like a Ka. We've had a couple as extra cars and they are great (in a very very basic way). Very cheap to insure.

Getting back into your Boxster after a week in a Ka, will make it feel extra special, believe me! :laughingsmiley:
