Does this sound competetive?

Looking at purchasing Sandmans T plate Boxster 2.5 at the end of the month.

I phoned RH specialist insurance today. I am nearly 40 and have another car for daily use. 5k limited miles on the Boxster valued at £4k. I have decent no claims 10+ years, no accidents claims or convictions and am a boring civil servant.... I added my wife, same as me - boring with no claims convictions accidents and a NHS worker. I dont live in Brixton - but Marlborough. Car is to be garaged when at home.

£311.57 for the year with 5k limited miles.

Just a sanity check really. Does this sound right?

Thanks

I think you'll get it cheaper, Try un garaged but in drive, oddly that's sometimes cheaper, I add the wife to he policy and usually save a bit more.

Go onto a comparison site, see who comes out cheapest ( I normally pick the cheapest but from a company I've heard of ! )

If you have the inclination, then ring that company direct, and see if the can beat it again.

Insurance companies are a law unto themselves, so it can take a bit of work to get the best deal.

I would expect the premium to be in the two hundreds. I pay £240ish for a 2.5 as a second car with domestic and business, full NCB, Surrey postcode and 6k limit through A-Plan.
