Hi Araf.....yes thank you....eventually got back from Newport this evening at around 8.00..bloody M6 closure ..after leaving this morning at 0600...so a long day...

but...I love the result...as mentioned..it makes "the car pop"...?..and really stand out...it looks factory fitted and the colour is a 100 % match.

i honestly can't thank Rob and the guys down at BAS enough...really great guys and a thoroughly enjoyable experience....I even had a personal tour of their impressive factory...

anyway....ill post some pics tomorrow...hope you chaps like it as much as I do.

Si.

no...I've just taken it out of the boot. BAS managed to get it off intact so it's in a bag in the garage. May keep it as a spare...not that I really need a spare hood  to be honest ?

Looks great. Whats the damage on one of those fitted?

Is it a replica of original? im thinking rear window and emblem etc. Its difficult to see in pics whether its a shadow or authentic.

cheers

Hi Swiller...not sure if that's for me...but it cost me £890 all in from BAS.

its not original but it's the same material, and the rear window has the Porsche logo, plus it's fitted into the hood fabric...so it's indistinguishable from the factory hood.

i couldn't  be more pleased...it's really changed the car.

Thanks mate, it was to anyone really who has bought one. So yes its for you.:D

Yeah does look really good and thanks++ for clarifying the window and original look. Knowing that it is very similar to porsche replacement is good to know.

Currently planning a cosmetic 2yr mission to make my box perfect, (the majority of the mechanical stuff is done), its a retirement keeper. so thats pretty good money for a brand new hood. The fabric looks pretty amazing, dare i say it better than the original. Its on the list :)

well if your anywhere near me in ST9 or WA5 I’ll happily take a drive to show you...i think its radically changed my car.

I try to keep it looking original where possible, but this and the LED DRL’s (the ones that look OEM) are the best cosmetic upgrades I think you can do without it looking to much like a modified car.
