DAB Radio Icons

Recommended Posts

Using the DAB radio, I only get the station icons on the radio presets screen for a few stations - BBC / Virgin but for nothing else like Absolute / Magic. I know they exist because other cars the "household fleet" show them but not the Boxster.

Not a great problem I know, but would be good to know if anyone else has this issue?

I had this too. What I did to correct it was to search for the station in the list again, then store it 'over' the current stored one and the screen icon is displayed thereafter.

When you do the searching, are the icons there? They should be!

Well there are icons for the stations that show icons on the presets screen, but they are few and far between......

Are you in a cr*p DAB area?

No not really, my other cars pick up the station icons, just not the most expensive car! 😞

I'd be back to the dealer and ask for their opinion. It might just require a software reboot.

3 weeks after I got my 718 the radio exhibited zero volume. I couldn't work out why not. Quick visit to Belfast, a software reboot and all is sweet again.

.

It's booked in for some other warranty work and I've asked them to look at this as well.
