Douglas Valley Parts

Recommended Posts

When purchasing my car from a Porsche specialist in Coventry, the dealer and I had a long chat about parts and maintenance. He said that Douglas Valley have a very good reputation and if I needed parts in the future I should look them up. 👍

There parts are keenly priced, however there postage costs are outrageous, I have found.

Agree re postage charges. I bought something and they insisted on sending it by courier and charging accordingly despite my request for 2nd class post. Can only think they load the charges rather than increasing the price of the item sold.

Talk to them.  If it is a slow moving item I've got Steve to waive postage on one occasion and to ship tow things together even though they say they don't.  At the end of the day he is breaking cars and therefore needs to move parts so you could even try an offer. More common items are often listed a few times, so select the listing with the lowest price too. That said he probably won't thank me for revealing any of this....
