The cheapest 986 ever...?

Recommended Posts

It is a Cat N car though, but still cheap and worth a punt for someone I'm sure...

MOT history shows lots of fails and advisories but interestingly the most recent just one advisory for pitted discs (not at all unusual).

A perfect track car project for someone, or just a cheap daily runner, and must surely be a bargain at that price :thumbsup_anim:

buy it, drive it for the summer, break it when it fails the next MOT for more than you paid for it - result

Plastidip it lime green and do a charity rally in it perhaps?

The MOT history are bulbs, bushes and tyres, cant see anything major.  Just normal wear items

I totally agree - my point was latest MOT shows just the one advisory, so either all previous ones taken care of over time or a very friendly tester.

As @Darren Sapsford says might be perfect for what he is looking (a cheap Boxster to convert to track use).

Would be funny to see what a specialist would make of it after an inspection.

For £1500 with 10 months MOT I wouldn't care what a specialist thought - if it goes bang then it goes bang - strip it for parts and move on - if it drives ok and can do a summer I'd be all over it.

Can't wait to see that Boxster on the forum sometime soon, it's bound to be snapped up by one of you crazy kids and become a track day toy :whistle1:

Wow, that is a scarily cheap price, hopefully not indicative of what's to come.

Sure there was someone on here recently who got one advertised as a non runner for £1000 and all it needed was a battery.
