Can you guarantee that he will attend every time? 🤔

I am that second driver.

I think that's always been the case, which is why I've always told my insurance company when I'm going and for how long, so they can upgrade the continental cover to fully comp. while I'm away.
-
Exactly! I've just sorted out my father's Ford Fusion for another year. £617 was the cheapest for an 89 year old doing 5000 miles SD&P per year. In answer to the original question, if it's performance enhancing, "Yes" When discussing stickers and wraps with brokers in the past, they've ignored them and anything else cosmetic I'm happy to take on the chin rather than claim for. You missed Tow bar from your list. Two of my cars have them and they have to be notified.

Your speeling is atrocious at the moment. I'll get it moved to Hot To. -
Oh, you are naive. How many times do you see "Porsche driver caught speeding" when the type of car has nothing to do with the offence?
-
I wouldn't bother bringing the media into it. Whilst all on here know that ordinary, hard-working people (and @John K ) can afford a Porsche, I wouldn't mind betting that the story would get written up as you being a self-entitled egotist, trying to screw a local council service provider.
-
I think I would have taken the bike into safe care until Lime paid for the damage and retrieved the bike. As has already been said, these bike hire companies have to be insured in order to work the streets. If a council has opted for a company without adequate cover to pay for accidental damage (as they appear to be telling you) then their licence should be revoked.

Thanks. Good old Admiral group. The only insurance company I have had to get the ombudsman involved with (found in my favour). I don't think the SORN exclusion is exclusive to them but as with others it is a money spinning excuse to keep their headline yearly premium competitive. Thanks @Boxob

Yes, probably so now moved. 🙂

I bought some diodes and that's as far as I've got, so far. Was it really two years ago. Welcome to the forum.

Good find. I've made it a sticky for you.
