How do you harden the paint? A detailer did mine, but a few months later most of it came off with a jetwash, I was less than impressed.
I'd also hope that the base surface would be properly cleaned also, for those chips which are more than a few weeks old and have probably picked up some dirt.

Hey, for the Toyota bureaucracy I also need a copy of the final invoice from the Spanish dealer I bought from in 2008. Checked my paperwork, guess what, no CoC, not even a final invoice! All I ever got was an itemised purchase order that says I've put a grand down and still need to pay 27k...
And their banks all went bust a year later. Qué sorpresa...

At 105k it wouldn't hurt to refresh the springs. Pay for alignment once!
Have you looked at Spyder Performance components? They are mentioned a few times on here. Usually for 986, not sure about 987.1.

Lol. I remember the old 2cv print adverts that said “More luggage space than a Porsche! With 28 cu ft of space, you won’t need that luggage rack on the back.“

Shh, he doesn't want to lower his resale value

so next job when we have a clear day is door membrane. remove the door cards and see what condition the membrane is in.
Any sign of aftermarket stereo? Previous owners have been known to hack the membrane about to install better speakers.

I think it was an Evo6 where a reviewer said "Every time I glanced in the mirror I thought I was being pursued by a five-barred gate".

You see? Get a wheelchair without a roof, see how you already start thinking sensibly?

Unit under the pax seat for the 987 is the "rear control unit", so if it gets wet, expect funny behaviour at the back of the car. I don't know if that includes the roof.
I'm also thinking of the perforated liner just over your shoulder - we had a previous illustration, it was like a stanley blade had been through it, and the slit closes up really well to the naked eye, so look very carefully to check. Can often get perforated by a snapped plastic ball joint rotating into it.

Ah, not just a simple multiplug then

I could imagine a custom ribbon making service, there are usually cable making services. Amazed if it's more expensive than buying a new unit.
-
Nice, thanks. Now I look really carefully I can see the top is mesh, but very fine! I think 981 was more coarse.
-
How/why?
I guess even the first is aftermarket? Or did the 718 revert to clear, from the 981 mesh?
I see it's taller. Surprised if the lack of frame makes much difference in practice. Bought from where?

Low temp was recommended for the 3.4 engine as it was suspected to mitigate bore scoring (true or not).
Not sure how much benefit there is for the smaller engines, I think I saw one argument in favour once, that's it.
Don't know about brands. Might make sense to change while you're in there.

Fuel flap, rather than fuel cap, I guess?

New chairlegs installed.

Nice feedback and well done. Text is not clear for me, what was the material in the bar graph?

First you fill your drive with rusting bits of car, then you do this?
Neighbours must really hate you now.

Parents had a Megane-based Kangoo, parked it under trees. I mentioned leaves then googled it, apparently when leaves block a Megane's drains at the front you need to do the above, dismantle the entire dash and centre console.
Great job, you must feel quite intimate with that car by now!
