  1. Could be. VAG group tho innit. €123 finally, 100+VAT. Printed off while you wait. Dick Turpin, mutter, etc…
  2. Your CoCs are free from Porsche? Getting one for my Toyota, they want €160 (European, not sure if that makes a difference). Apparently some brands including VW and Skoda want over 200. Can this be true, that Porsche tax DOESN'T apply?! World first...
  3. Gratuitous calendar advert there, nicely done sir 👍 I think more here would fix wheels with tyres to a storage system, different hooks needed.
  4. Take a shot every time someone says "potential/potentially". Always the best way of introducing an element of terror into a narrative which has a weak basis in fact. Try this; the UK currently hosts over 40 million mass murderers, potentially. FACT. And all of this is based on the premise that people think they have an absolute right to drive. They don't - it's called a licence.
  5. Can you link that 2014 thread so we can see it?
  6. And check if they only offer to fix the car locally or fully bring it home. We had someone stung by (something like) that, it made a cheap trip very expensive.
  7. The standard statement for denying warranty or insurance cover is if they can show the modification caused the claim. For grilles, that might possibly (possibly!) be if the engine is overheating or the aircon not working. But it's the small dog barking loudly; both know that if the lawyers got involved there would be no winners, especially once the denial got amplified on social media and they'd lose easily twice as much in future business. As Patt illustrates, it's a bark with little bite.
  8. Most likely that will be third party cover only, certainly not comprehensive. For scubaregs to check. Hiring a car is also an option to price up.
  9. I was added as named driver on my parents' car. Ask about adding for 5 days or 6 months or a year, you might find there is little difference between them!
  10. Sounds tidy. I tried washing mine, got into trouble.
  11. Sounds like the payment was made conditional on non-disclosure, don't push him too hard. ...or at least, not in public.
  12. Sounds like the best result you could get so far. The council license them and the Public Affairs dept usually want to keep everyone happy. 👍
  13. That's OK, when they're a 19 year old with no money they'll be able to hire a nice suit and the city's best ballroom.
  14. I think using all this to destroy their "ethical" reputation on Twitter will be as effective as anything else. It seems most companies concerned for their reputation monitor Twitter very quickly. #LimeHiding or similar could be a fun trend (#WheresLime even funnier, given it looks like We'reSlime and thus makes everyone giggle at them - stains their brand). People like green companies but no-one like those who hide and refuse to pay up.
  15. I have taken one of your bikes home in lieu of payment. If I don’t get paid in a week I will take another.
  16. Forget the three parties for a moment. If a teenager had their own bike and crashed into your car, would you claim and if so how? I suspect you'd have to be pretty determined to get something off Lime, I think like most companies these days they use a complicated system of contracts and ownership to avoid responsibility for anything. Just seen r1's answer - negligence should do.
  17. Dunno mate but if you can wait I could probably tow you from Castelo Branco?
