SDoc100 always worked a treat on my motorbikes. Dilute as needed and work in with a brush on stubborn areas.

Full geo session at Center Gravity yesterday - very happy boy! Now all the gains from the suspension changes are fully realised with a massive difference to the feel of the car and a great benchmark from which to develop further. Chris and Pete are both amazing and worth their weight in gold and a trip to Atherstone is money (and choccy hobnobs) very well spent.

Posted some back in 2017 but can't seem to go back that far in the search for some reason. Anyone know how to go back and access threads that go back a few years?
Here's a pic of it looking shiny.

Blimey, given the amount of cars you must have worked on over the years, that is one hell of an endorsement
Paul is being very kind! It does now drive alot better after he'd worked his magic replacing the dampers.

One was starting to knock so had to be changed for the last MOT. Going to make them part of ongoing lifecycle maintenance like drive belt etc so shouldn't be in such a state next time.

....drop links not top links.......unable to type properly after such a fantastic drive!

Took the car out for it’s first shakedown run following a change from tired old factory dampers and springs to Koni Special Active with H&R -10mm MO30’s. This is a tried and tested upgrade that many on here are running and it really is amazing how quickly you adjust to the knackered old stuff and forget what proper damping actually feels like. The car now smooths out road imperfections brilliantly yet remains taut and precise when pushing through corners. Very happy boy!
Massive thanks to Paul @TROOPER88 from this very parish who fitted the new suspension and had to wrestle 3 stubborn top links into submission and deal with an awkward top mount. Great guy to deal with - his enthusiasm, knowledge and workmanship is fantastic and I’d highly recommend getting in touch with him if you are needing some work done or looking to purchase a Boxster. Be rude not to.

Perfectly comfy at 6'3" in mine with the seat as low and far back as it will go. Much prefer the tombstone seats as found the sports ones too restrictive and uncomfortable for my shoulders. Haven't tried the 987 seats out but others on here seem very happy having retro-fitted them.

What geo do you intend to run and is the car for mainly road or track?
Road focused, looking for good turn in without it getting too lively at the back so I suppose more of a slightly tightened version of the existing. Not sure if I'll need adjustable top mounts as might not be necessary to run that much negative camber. I need to re-read your 550 thread but did you alter the arb's at all or just polybush?

Finally got round to fitting spacers and deep cleaning the wheels along with giving all the vulnerable exposed stuff a coating of acf50. Dampers definitely looking rather ropey, though still functioning fine for now, so it may be time to investigate KONI active sport with 10mm lower H&R springs as I know a few on here run that set up. Any recommendations on top mounts as a bit of adjustability might be useful?

That does look like it will be very much on the interesting side of quick.....what capacity have you taken it out to and will there be updates in a members rides/running reports thread?
Great work!

MOT passed, minor service and the guys at Eporsch worked their magic on the engine so now the little Boxster really flies and is so much more responsive. Very happy chappy!

Again, technically last night, snow foam, double bucket wash and another layer of wax to clear off the early spring road muck and prepare for better weather. Autoglymed the leather too and really impressed by how well it came up. Fluids and pressures checked and all glass polished so now off for an enthusiastic hood down blast before the Lycra roadblocks clog up the Surrey Hills.
Enjoy the sun all!!!!

Major service and MOT at Eporsch with no issues or advisories. Great service again from Dean who also had a new petrol filler cap kicking around to swap over for my old one which had a broken strap. No particles evident in the oil or filter but sending a sample off to Oil Lab for analysis to get some base readings in order to monitor the condition of the engine as it ages (108k miles).

Washed, claybar, polish & wax...phew! now doing nothing for the rest of the day!
Did exactly that yesterday and am now a convert to Bilt Hamber. I'm sure it was faster on a run out this morning too!

Worth grabbing and stashing away at this price for the inevitable suspension refresh if the 986 is to be a keeper. Totally transformed mine at 115k along with H&R MO30 spec springs and new top mounts.
