Are you able to keep the cup holders ? , as the trim I purchased when I switched to a double din unit the item specifically listed it saying will not fit with cup holders.
My fitting kit of eBay fitted just turned the surround upside down and it looked better than the correct way imho

Productive job today... Had a slight weep on the radiator , so took about it , as the other side radiator and both condensers didnt look like they would last much longer , I changed them all, couldnt believe how easy it was to do....
No need to drain the whole system, Most fixings where easy to access , just a couple took a little to think about, all in all took around 5 hours to do both sides and bleed the system and test and all good now
I noticed you have the Led front headlights , can I ask where you got them ? I ordered a set from Design911 they were all black , they were nearly £1000 and they were absolutely cr*p , the adjusters didn’t work they filled with condensation and fitted poorly so I sent them back but I was so disappointed because they looked really good

Loving the steering wheel, doe the flat bottom make much difference? who did it and can I ask how much? I presume they adapted your existing wheel
It was done by Royal steering wheels, the thickness is the same as original and the diameter is the same , I don’t find the flat bottom to be noticeable when driving, they do a service exchange, you give them your requirements and they can make the wheel and you send them yours when you have fitted the new one , the cost was £260 all in including delivery and you also pay £200 surcharge which is refunded when they get your steering wheel back, I opted for this option as it’s my only car , you can send them yours but turnaround is approximately 2weeks

Thanks @V6reu, don't suppose you have a link to Renntech post? I tried to find it but nothing jumped out. If not, I'll try as you suggest - lots of free time!
Apologies to all - should have put this in Technical Folder!
Forgot I also had this saved , worth a read

Spent several hours trying to adjust my roof so that the latch doesn't strike the wind deflector - no luck. Any help much appreciated.
Old roof worked fine with deflector but, due to an unrepairable/replaceable window, I replaced the roof in Autumn with another. I changed out the roof and frame assembly. As it was Autumn, I had removed the deflector, as recommended in the manual, and the replacement roof worked fine. I've recently put the deflector back in and now the roof latch strikes the deflector on passing.
I've loosened all the 6 mounting bolts (in fact I removed them all) and tried to shift the whole frame with no success - there's not a lot of adjustment, and tinkered with the adjustment forks but they only seem to affect fore/aft positioning and don't seem to affect the height the roof rises to.
Essentially, I need to lift the whole assembly, or the angle of the roof folding needs to adjusted, but I can't see how to do either. I've searched BoXa net, Pistonheads, 986forum and Rennlist with no joy. Any guidance gratefully received!
Just read on Renntech they have rectified this problem buy loosening the 3 x13mm bolts on the hood frame , one side at a time and then get someone to pull the frame backwards as you tighten them up , then repeat in the other side

took my roll bar out to paint it , then had same trouble as Paul so It would be doubtful it’s the shims under roll bar , I loosened all the roof mounts and full closed roof the done up the bolts as best as I could the opened roof and re- tightened everything, it was better but not perfect

Thanks. I think that's one of the ones I was looking at, but didn't want to spend £60 when I only needed the surround. The other I looked at (surround only) specified that it wouldn't work with the cup-holders.
they might sell it on its own if you contact the seller , i just wanted it to look right and it does fit nicely
