  1. I had a claimed for a new Windscreen on the previous Macan as they are circa £1500 fitted at the OPC. The reason I didn’t concern myself with a ‘claim’ was, any increase in premiums will be minor compared to me forking out for a new windscreen! Hence insurance premium increase is a minor issue with a claim like that! Its when I can’t get quotes I’ll start to worry 🥴
  2. If the OP gets no joy I suggest he uses the LIME scooters as much as possible and leave them in places where acts of god render them unusable 😁
  3. This is actually a good point, what if this did occur and the ‘operator/owner’ came after you for damages would this not show they had some ‘control’ over the property whilst not in use, otherwise anyone could just throw these things in the canal with no recourse if they were ‘not on hire’ at the time.
  4. @Menoporscheapproached this very professionally , i just went for the jugular as this scenario boils my p*ss. You work hard for what you have and people with no respect or common sense cause you financial distress.
  5. Id agree with this, due negligence on behalf of the last user. Small claims court, don't let the little inconsiderate little shyate get away with it. 🤬
  6. Hi @dpg123 Glad you found them helpful. Oracle regularly email me with updates and offers but to date I’ve never used their services and have no affiliation with them but they do come across as more helpful and open than the OPC financial salesman. I also don’t change cars very often and yes I have a Macan A 2015 DS model, nearly five years I’ve had it now. A replacement would need to be significantly improved for me to warrant changing it for a newer model. To be honest there is nothing out there, like for like I would change it for. It’s pretty well spec’ed and if I were to add anything from experience, roof rails, heated steering wheel & Burmester would make it the perfect spec. Theres a few of us on here with Macans of various models too so if you have any questions please feel free to ask, if I can’t answer it I’m sure someone else will
  7. Try Oracle car finance, they offer similar packages to suit your needs and are a big company. Ive never used them but did offer a better deal than the OPC
  8. Do NOT use Porsche PCP, the rates are crazy high. look elsewhere for your finance as you can literally save £1000’s in interest depending on how much your balloon is
  9. Hi David

Do you have an emails address for your contact that i may CC into a correspondence for this continual saga.

Given Solihull's quote for the lights against another OPC being £500 cheaper I'm going to push this further due to the lack of transparency

    Cheers

    Gary

  11. No problem, the genuine Porsche parts/repairer is part of my requirements too, to maintain the warranty. Hope you get a good result, keep us posted as if you find a better deal than any recommendations then would be good info for fellow members
  12. Pm's replued too, be interesting to know if they can help you
  13. I received my renewal from A-plan but wanted track day cover and guaranteed value. unfortunately they couldn't help on this occasion not for want of trying though. Ive taken out a policy with a company recommended on PH, guaranteed value legal cover NCB protection and cover for 5 track days for the same price as A-Plans renewal quote which doesn't provide two of the above items. Not sure it's fair to name the company on an APlan thread so if you want the details, PM me
