Insurance renewal time...

Obvs ?

nothing out the ordinary for me, 59 at the mo, use it for pleasure and the odd commute now and again, use of second car at home, years of no claims, no convictions etc. Just requested 7.5k for mileage as a European Tour can easily add 2,5 - 3k

I guess the commute element and increased mileage must make all the difference.  Quite a difference though!

Hope you got cash back. Swap my car and household insurances around every year, generally between Aviva, Esure and Direct Line. Always go through Quidco or Top Cashback. Got a great deal and £60 back from Aviva on the Boxster last year. Same process for renewal next month. Got existing customer deal (20%)  and £60 cashback on Mrs Rocket’s Clio too this year.  Cheap as chips :bana:

so far (without any negotiation) I'm between Aviva and Direct line (Manning not yet quoted)

Still miffed that it has doubled from 986 to 981, but looking at just over £500 with courtesy car, 8K miles and no added excess.

Buy Aviva through Quidco. I did that for the Fiesta and got £50 cash back.

It's showing £100 cash back for Aviva if you buy through Quidco by close of play Wednesday.

Yes, that's the deal I got. For some reason the cash back was tracked at £94.44 and should be paid by July...........

Hello

Is there anybody here who street parks in London?

I'm looking to buy a 986S around 2001MY for sub £5k, and it would be parked outside my house - on street parking with a permit.

Just sniffing around for what I might expect on insurance quotes pricewise - I'm 30yo, 3y NCB,

I ask as all my previous classic policies have required garaged / off street parking as a cover criteria, So I'm guessing i'll have to have a 'normal' :( policy..

beers!

HH

Is it your only car? Is it just social, domestic and pleasure, not commuting? I'd be expecting £1k plus. Maybe try one of the forum insurance sponsors or go on a comparison site to get a ballpark and then try the more specialist brokers.

Manning Insurance. 50 years of age. £300 cost pa. Agreed value of £30K.  Track day cover. 3000 miles.  OPC repair and windscreen (or wherever I want to take). And there is always someone there to sensibly discuss anything.  I could not recommend more based on my current experience.

Yes it would be my only car, though I have company car access which I’d undoubtably mention.

It would be SDP&C, I suppose I’ll have to resign myself to spending £1k then.. :/
