Tbone
On my old 987, if the car was locked without use for any time, there would be a partial shutdown and when you wanted to unlock the car, you had to do it with the key, not the button on kefyob. Now, with the 718, and winter approaching, it could also see lengthy spells of not being used. But , as it doesnt have a "key", is there any similar "power saving feature" I should be aware of ? rowbos
On the 987 you have to lift the drivers side (might work on passenger side too) door handle to wake it up...

Pull the door handle once to activate the system again. Pull the door handle again to open the door.
