Chuckie66
Tried out the headlamp washer today, amazing it pops up makes a load of noise and then pops down again! Sadly no water came out of either.... I'm guessing the feed has come off, any pics/advice on where to locate the pipe?
Madlil
May sound obvious but have you checked the reservoir is full? Most modern cars will not spray the headlights if the washer fluid is low. Having said that I would expect the mechanism to not activate if the fluid was low. Hope you get it sorted... Hope you get it sorted... the windscreen wipers are working so presumed the same tank supplied the headlamp washers? I'll fill it up anyways. lofi
My guess is when it was off being sprayed they couldn’t be arsed to connect them back up, it’s a bit of a pain to do

daz05
If the pipe feed wasn't connected I don't they would have the pressure to rise? Could just need a few more sprays or you have a blockage somewhere.
Chuckie66
The magic fairies 🧚♀️ have been out and headlamp washer worked first time today! Assuming pipes must have run dry when bumper was resprayed, takes a few good squirts.

Year after year of Boxster ownership and I never knew they did that, just assumed that as they sat on the bumper top as they do they didn't move. I am a bit baffled why, if you've gone the trouble of designing an elaborate mechanism to raise the washers, you wouldn't drop them flush with the bumper so they are invisible when not in use? Anyway thanks to the OP for starting this thread - something else I've learnt about my car that I probably should have already known!
