Access to rear of headlight electrical connection.

Having a problem making a full contact with the above causing the passenger side front indicator to rapidly flash

Headlight works normally.  Is there access to the connection if I remove the front wheel arch.

Car is 2000 reg 2.7 986 if that helps. TIA.

All the connectors should be fully accessible when you remove the headlamp unit.  It could be the retaining clip on the side of the loom connector you plug in by hand when refitting the headlight unit has broken making it not remain fully seated.

I had the same issue in the past, I found that by pushing the connector down and then the clip behind it down it solved my issue, it seems if you remove the headlight a few times then the connector starts working loose in the clip

Thanks the problem I had was the electrical connector was either moving or at an incorrect angle even with the yellow clip engaged

which was causing the indicator pins to make only partial connection and a rapidly flashing indicator.

Now sorted but will possibly need a replacement LHS headlight tray before the next MOT due to a touch of remedial butchery.😁
