Menoporsche Posted September 25, 2021 Report Share Posted September 25, 2021 Car crazy friend of mine (effectively my indie) is looking at a 10 year old Cayenne, very probably a hybrid. He’s doing his own research but there aren’t many in Portugal. Any things to look out for, options to insist on or avoid, ownership tips like our 986 drain holes etc? I looked at touareg hybrid a few years ago - very similar under pinnings - but the lack of availability for replacement batteries and the cost was an issue. david_yorkshire Posted September 25, 2021 Report Share Posted September 25, 2021 yes I did ! it was definitely a 1.0 hybrid! Supercharged 6 cylinder with light hybrid. As hybrids go, it was pretty limp; the battery did give a nice punch, but not like later models. Saying that, I did tow a Brian James trailer with a 997 Cup car on the back, 8 spare wheels, lots of kit, and 4 up inside, all the way to Spa! Very well appointed too.
