No. It’s not nr3 in that drawing.

The one I have is not hollow and have smaller diameter, it’s not a tube it’s like a small shaft/axle…

but thanks for trying to help!😅

It was the only item that looked anything like a 53 x 4 rod/shaft in the parts cat.  Looks like you'll need real specialist help from a Porsche engine expert, like at Hartech.

To be honest I can’t be sure if the part is from this engine or not, as I had bought the car with the engine totally unassembled in boxes🤪….

Puts a different spin on it!

Have shared the photo with someone who might be able to help. If they have any suggestions I’ll post them here.

The feedback is that they "don't recognise the part from a Boxster engine TBH" - this is from folk who built my 986 3.7 and various 9x7 standard and 3.9 motors so they're pretty familiar with the parts needed to build one.

Given it was a disassembled engine it would be entirely possible it has nothing to do with the engine at all.

So for example , re https://flic.kr/p/2ntV2et, when I open it in my browser (Safari on a Mac) the address for the image is actually https://www.flickr.com/photos/61827272@N07/52168075145/

You should be able to get that image address by right clicking on the photo in Flickr.
