I moved it out the garage, first time since 18th December. But only to get the ladders out to take down the Christmas decorations 🤣🤣

Then put it away again 🤪

Speaking of superior motors, I've been looking for the Cayman section on here, but can't seem to find it.  Anyone know where it is...?

Need a new topic,

What Have You Done to Your 987C today, Davey P?

It would be full of commentslike "had an indicator bulb go, so took it to the OPC to change it" ;)

Seems a bit much to change the car just because the bulb had gone!  Any excuse to get rid of it 🤪

Apologies to Macan owners who look up this serious thread that should have useful information and anecdotes about the chosen model.  If you stick around you'll understand the stick @Davey P gets and participates in.

Read on, and I hope more useful stuff will start to appear!

Don't let the b4stards wear you down @Davey P, this is the time of the year to be smug with a proper roof.
These "Cayman Convertibles" have about 6 months to go before they can put the roof down for that 1 day UK summer 😉

Also, I am off to Morzine skiing in two weeks, so you could say I am absolutely buzzing at the moment - Woohoo! :rocks:

The 986 was a Cayman beta release, design wasn't quite finished but wanted some initial feedback while they worked on the roof, during the summer.

It's true - see http://www.porsche.com/986-cayman-beta-release-summer-1996

;)

(ps - don't click on that link, it could take you anywhere!)

I'm not clicking on either of those.....I learnt my lesson during lockdown - with the infamous 'large' guy appearing on most links or the same noises Gary Lineker had to work around on TV the other week!  :D

Took mine in for its recall today. 2 x recall items, 4WD system software update & an air con issue which is affected by the headlights!!!!

Have a lovely (not) 270 mile old Cheyenne hybrid loaner.
