Yep, I put a jl 600 watt / 6 channel amp in and connected all the Bose speakers to it apart from the stupid centre dash one. Was a long time ago though (had the car since new) and involved a bit of soldering and a couple of big resistors.

it all still works and sounds better than the original bose amp imho 🙂

And I can’t help as I bypassed the Bose amp and used a better one

If you get stuck... they're  50p from Maplin, depending of course on whether you have a local branch

is the diode the right way around? just an idea
