Ours is averaged around 32 mpg
You clearly drive in a more ‘spirited’ manner! I tend to just ‘waft’ along….. Nevertheless, I remain amazed at the economy of such a big car. When I look back at the single figure mpg of my earlier cars (admittedly V12s), I wince at my time spent at the pumps. I could, at a pinch, nurse them to 15-16mpg, but I was always in a hurry then.

Current base Macan says
Consumption (WLTP)*
Fuel consumption combined* (model range) 25.7 - 27.7 mpg
That is shocking. My Cayenne Diesel has averaged 40mpg over the last 8000 miles....

Not much to watch out for; the build quality is tremendous. Many were specced with a great number of toys (mine has over £35k of extras fitted). The only one I think really desirable is the air suspension....but avoid really big wheels - they dont respond well to potholes (well, the tyres don't anyway...). I've only replaced consumables on mine (5 tyres (one, due pothole after 700 miles) and a battery), and it is, by far, the most comfy car I have ever had; I would struggle to think of a similar replacement other than a FFRR....and the potential for big bills on one of those is huge. The base diesel is also fairly refined, though the S would undoubtedly bring more smiles.
