  1. Needed to replace my corroded wheel bolts. Contacted OPC, Tonbridge.....apparently they make them in black ONLY now?!!! (Due to the corrosion issues). That's not right, surely? Black bolts on silver wheels????

  2. Update. Despite several days of drying out the old board, it wouldn't work on re-installation. So bought a new (pre-programmed) one from MBD. Excellent service from them.

All seems fine now (spoiler and rear brake lights). Haven't tested the soft top as the hard top is currently in place....a mate cleared the error messages.

Still struggling to dry the foam under the passenger carpets though....de-humidifier in place for a few days now....ANY IDEAS please?

And have re-checked all the drain holes again......fingers crossed!

So MBD want £375, or someone else wants £?200 (I can't quickly see the OPC price) plus coding fee, for which a few members here may ask a very reasonable price . There are also used ones from Steve Strange but who knows if they also had water damage.

    £200? where's that, @Menoporsche?

Despite clearing all the drain holes a few weeks ago, the rear spoiler started playing up, then the rear brake light etc etc....on inspection, the passenger footwell and under the passenger seat were waterlogged. ECU module completely soaked in water...

I have removed the seat and am busy drying the carpets.

    ECU part number 977.618.260.08

Is it worth drying the ECU and then trying to plug it in again? Or is a new one the only option? If so, has anyone used this service?:

    Any other advice gratefully received...

    Thanks.

Anyone aware of this company....MDBDIAGNOSTICS? They claim to send out a fully coded ECU...

Step this way my boy and hand over £900.....

I really need to do my passenger side one. I always close the roof to the last 6" and get out and check. Not while the car is moving... Sometimes it's fine someimes it snags over.

    £900 for replacing the hood?
