I bought these ones to replace my corroded bolts. Bonus was getting rid of locking wheel bolts.
What torque would you use with these?

Thanks guys, looks like it's just got to be done then.

My 987.2 is going in for its 12 year service next month. As part of the PDK gearbox oil change, I'm being quoted £279 + VAT for "PDK Sump Pan (Including Filter". I don't recall any such part at the 6 year service. Is this normal?

I've recently moved to the Buxton area and my 987.2 needs a service. Can anybody recommend an independant Porsche service centre not too far away?

I have a 987.2. If you remove the headlight unit there is a small lever at the back that, if moved, will cut the beam for driving on the right.

What size tin of Fabsil do you need to do the roof once?

There should be a couple of connectors in the fuse box that allow you to add a 12v supply, specifically to open the frunk.

Thanks guys. Will get a copy ordered.

The main lock/unlock button with the red lens has fallen out of my ignition key. Can I just buy a copy from ebay and transfer the internals? Any recommendations?

I run 18" in the summer, on my 987.2 but swap for 17" in the winter. The rolling radius is the same so the speedo is still accurate. A much softer ride with the 17" as the tyre sidewalls are taller.

Thanks guys. I've decided to go with the Cabrioshield Premium. It's not cheap but hopefully, as 1/2 cwt points out, it may get used more as it's easier to put on.

We will be moving to another house, without garage, soon and want to get a good full cover for the Boxter. Has anybody got any recommendations?

Thanks guys. Just what I needed to know.

I have a 2011 987.2 and the horn button is sticking in. It will free itself after about 30 seconds. Any suggestions on an easy way to fix it? How easy is it to remove the centre button?
12 Year Service - Is this part required?

I think that this is "tiptronic" not "PDK". Clearly there is a difference with the sump pan and filter.
