Also not a fan of the Pegasus, think it cheapens the look of such a classic car. And personally I think 2 exhausts or twin exhausts always look better than one. Just my opinion of course.

Looks even better in the light of day. Can't wait to see it with wheels and the humps.
Incidentally, I was wondering what wheels you have gone for? Sorry if this has been mentioned, but I don't remember seeing it. I was also intrigued by the fitting of the Speedster Humps. As you can only have them on with the roof down, I presume they are fairly easy to off and on?

Looks bloody fantastic, and what a superb job they have done. 😁
What colour is it?

Unless the wheel wait is weeks of course 🤣
I vote for waiting to see it in all it's glory!

Not an expert, but I never think of the expansion tank as being part of the coolant circuit. So it doesn't always have a regular flow of water running through it unless the engine has been run for a while. Sounds normal to me. Is there a clue in the word expansion, in that when the coolant gets to a certain temperature it has a branch off to expand into.

I thought spacesaver wheels had to be fiitted on the front axle? So if you had a rear puncture, the front had to go on the back, and the spacesaver on the front.
May be imagining this?

Looks like a beetle engine in that?
