Are 986 and 987 fitment not the same? They list different parts for each car. 

I don't suppose anyone has a recommendation of an aftermarket brace? I've looked at the designtek one, I messaged design 911 who stock them and they say the battery covers can't be refitted once this is installed. That puts me off. 

I've just checked and I don't have the mounts on the shock towers. 2011 987.2. looks like an aftermarket brace for me.
