Always a relief. Especially the emissions part.

Took it for it's MOT which it passed with no advisories. 😊

Gave it an Oil and Filter change. Made it harder for myself by putting everything back together and getting it off the jacks to realise I had not changed the oil filter.😫

My 52reg 3.2s is also exempt.

Yep. I think all diesels before 2016.

Seems a bit of a waste to replace the whole thing. Is there a way to just replace the bushings?

True,  but you don't have to wrap the whole car. Just the bits on the front. If you do it well you won't even notice it unless you look closely,

Old show trick is to wrap the front of the car in cling film. Then when you get there you just peel it off with all the bugs.

Took it for it's MOT. Passed all good. 

Drove it. Was such a nice day it would have been rude not too. Finally went over the 50k mark.

Replaced the battery as the old one died suddenly after only four years.
