Washed it and treated it to Autoglym gloss protection, and washed and sealed the wheels.
Typically, it was too dark to take photos by the time I'd finished, but I'm sure it's very shiny!

Roof cleaned with the Autoglym kit, which is on offer at Halfords.
Looks good so far, but I'll reserve judgement until it's properly dried out.

I'm doing mine today, though I bought a Torx Allen key to make screw removal easier.
Good plan. Gripping the torx head with pliers is not recommended. I should probably have thought about the Allen version.....
I wouldn't bother with a hacksaw on the adapter or speakers (as one online guide suggests), some cutters do the job easily, you just need to be careful not to ruin anything. Mind you, if I can do it anyone can!

New Alpine speakers fitted in the dash. Easy job really, it's just the front screws that make it difficult, they're too close to the windscreen!
Lots of swearing later, they're in and they sound much better.
What have YOU done to your 986 today ?

Spent about an hour digging around the back of the nearside rear wheel / brake heat shield to remove a stone that was rubbing and making a godawful row.
That's an hour I'll never get back and now I know how bad the inside of the discs are!
