The Auto Lighting ones linked on pg 3. They are white not blue. Very much same colour as the headlights so recommended

Thank you all for the recommendation on the LED bulbs.  I ordered last week after reading this thread and fitted on Sunday.  Bright white LEDs look great and while I had bright white side light bulbs already, I swapped them for new at the same time.  Yet to get the diode.

With the side/fog lights out, I also found it was dead easy to slide in home made grills I cut from some race alley mesh and secure with tiny black cable ties.  Satisfying (if cold) Sunday afternoon activity.

BTW guys, I am not making any comment about Dom or SVP.  I am fully aware of the bankruptcy and know folks who were out of pocket as a result.  Personally, I had a car for sale with Dom at the time, which was why I had been up at SVP, otherwise no prior relationship.  I am certainly not standing up for him.  What is public and verifiable pretty much speaks for itself.

Keeping it objective, he did know a thing or two about prepping 987s and the SV car got very good magazine reviews.  My point was really that you can get a pretty sensible amount of power without a transplant and when combined with weight loss, you have a pretty capable package for a sensible amount of money.

Around 18 months ago talking to Dom Delaney about his Cayman SV, he reckoned you could get 340+hp from a 3.4.  I don't recall a lot more than exhaust and TB, plenum, intake, LWFW and maybe remap.  He was also adamant that his SV was more focussed than the customer GT4 that was also sitting in his workshop.  He had gone further in stripping out, LW bits than most would be prepared to do, but key elements were the LSD and custom set up KWs.

A "normal" Hartech rebuild costs you circa £8k, yes?  Once you up capacity, add cams etc, I think you are well over £10k.  IIRC the rumoured cost of the Autofarm 3.7 was over £15k.

I like your project a lot.  Nothing you can't reverse and you will be making it more "sports purpose" and more personal to you.

Please keep posting updates.  I will be looking at very similar mods with my 987.1S (as soon as I collect it).
