Yes I'd destroy that Spyder roof with my lack of tent talent and out of frustration in about 2 mins.
I would need a knowledgable spare helper stowed in the frunk to keep me out of trouble there.
Got any pics of the new steed ?
I have always had difficulty posting pics on here as I don't use a picture hosting site - will post the video when I got it on the Facebook page & hopefully some helpful person can oblige.
Yes I wouldn't cope with that Spyder roof!

Give you a tenner for it.
The Targa roof is a thing of mechanical beauty.
I will keep you in mind!
Yes the roof acrobatics are certainly something to behold - unlike the new Spyder RS - that would really annoy me!!

I've heard the Targa is really bad for wind buffeting when roof off/down - is this true ?
I read that too but haven't have much chance to check but so far not at lower speeds - I think they adjusted the small spoiler above windscreen for the 991.2 - hopefully get some good weather and clear roads soon!

Traded it in a couple of weeks ago for a 991.2 Targa 4S - the 911 is totally different in many ways but I must say not being able to raise and lower the roof while on the move is annoying me a wee bit.

And a great excuse to post those cracking pictures again!

Were they only available in manual at launch? - that could be a reason.
On what to spec that , as folk have said, is down to you and what typical use is - I need a PDK as my "worse" knee is the left.
Oh and what a problem to have!

My lucky day today! - 992 4s Targa 71 plate 2,000 miles on the clock

Recall getting done today at Glasgow OPC - MOT too - wonder what I will get as a loan car - they asked me to come in at 10am to ensure a car would be available..

Sorry never thought to take a pics or video

Yesterday my wife's 718's fan would not come on & as it was icy and misty on inside of windscreen the car could not be used.
After a call to Glasgow OPC she was advised to call our Porsche assist who sent the AA and, as it is a common fault, the AA man asked me to pop the frunk and he removed the cover and the clips from the box which sits in front of the passenger side of the car where he showed me the fan - he then put his hand in and turned the fan - started car and blowers worked! DO NOT have car running when you try this! He said it was his third time doing this yesterday and to run the fan for 5 minutes. No problems this morning.
Strange thing is my 718s was fine - I told my wife that this was because it is faster....

Your luck can only improve! Take care

Both fantastic at any angle!

Booked in for the wheels to be re-done on 4th May - diamond cut again but with black inside rather than the grey - hope it looks ok....
-
Lovely - wasn't sure about the wheels at first but they really work on your car!
-
Very nice & happy wife too!

Yep mine had already had 2 owners when I bought it - can see why someone (with the funds) would have changed it to get some extras that is is missing - Sport Chrono, folding mirrors, PDLS Plus, climate control - so that could explain the 2 owners in a short period of time.
I checked the history of mine matched what I was told by the OPC as the V5 still had previous keeper details - thankfully the OPC told me the truth!

Amazing! Changing my rears on Monday, just over 10k, seems about normal for me. Apparently I often drive it like I stole it 😂😂.
I need to up my game!

Not had any issues other than tyres only lasting 20,000 miles....

Waiting for Porsche roadside assistance to come to help.
I’ve had a warning message on the dash reading “ cooling system fault, consult dealer, service required”.
Its still under warranty & my OPC Re- opened today. They suggested using their recovery service to get in in & sorted. Especially as my Macan that I also bought from the same OPC needs to go in for a safety recall!
I understand that the 718 cooling system message is not un-common & has something to do with one or two valves?
Hope it is an easy fix and you aren't waiting too long!

You win, Cayenne felt like a barge.
I would have liked to have something different but glad I could still get the roof down

What did you get? I got a Cayenne Tuesday.

My wife is the same - insured but rarely drives it, which is fine by me! - My car is in at Glasgow OPC as well although I drove it to them and picked up the loan car.
Porsche tracking
in 981

It was pre-installed on my 911 and it cost me £476 for 2 years - you need to install the app which gives some useful features - insurance (Admiral) insisted it had a tracker as well.
