Cats in the rear back boxes and primary cats in the headers. If rattling from rear, change back box for aftermarket and you’ll be fine on emissions still and get to enjoy a little more flat 6 noise.

Only basic audio in mine but flick through the LH control behind steering wheel on mine cycles to radio if you have that option

Or cling film them to see if it works / helps before looking at other options

Thanks Paul I think you're right, it will be the adapters/fascia that kill the budget as much as anything else Just seems crazy to spend 500+ on something I hardly use. Perhaps I should just get the Mr12Volt and rely primarily on the voice instructions coming through the speakers. Doesn't get me a reverse cam though...
Ah, tech...
I’ve this fitted and it’s perfect for the times I use Nav and play music via my phone.
Keep thinking be nice to have a double din ApplePlay unit but with the above and a Brodit bracket for the phone, it’s a hard sell even using man maths.

I thought most cars vented / hissed when undoing the fuel filler cap, especially when it’s hot like now? Most cars I’ve owned have to a degree?
Or is this a different issue?

Just seen the ad and it reads well. Lovely car too and a great spec.

My car is on a conditioner but intend to get the battery checked and replaced if required. Cheers for the link @Davey P. Handy site to bookmark

Scum bags. Hopefully they meet a v nasty end one day soon! No CCTV from neighbours or dashcams?
I’d claim on the insurance tbh. Yes, your premium will go up but not to the tune of £1200+ (or 3K OEM). Claim and get a new Porsche roof all fitted and working as it should.

Had mine changed along with a shorter shift, it’s now a lovely positive nicely weighted throw.

Which headers did you get? Keep wondering about this myself. Interested that you got through the MOT.
Back boxes still have the secondary cats fitted.

Does it tuck away behind the pedal ok? Does look a great mod for the £

I use an Optimate Accumate 6V & 12V Trickle Motorcycle/Bike/Car Charger Optimiser on the Boxster without any issue, have attached thru the plug and play leads to the battery.
Have had the same unit since 2004 and used it on various cars without issue. Great bit of kit.

Mines a 2005 and the code shows as L39C - midnight blue metallic

My none Bose equipped 987.1 has the footwell socket and 2 in the centre console. Must just be luck of the draw. I leave a mini usb adaptor plugged into the footwell one so can charge the phone as required. Remember this one has a smaller fuse than the cigar lighter one in the centre.

The Boxster has cats in the headers as well as secondary cats in the back boxes. These secondary cats can be removed without any emission issues.

Your engine number is 62568720. Bigger bearing.

Just to add to all the other posts, never had to give any thought when selecting reverse so do think you might have an alignment issue.

If you’ve got it that cheap why not factor in someone doing it for you? Other alternative is to rent a lockup garage somewhere but like said, needs to be close enough so you can pop down & work on it.

Suggest 2 subtle black cable ties on each for secondary security incase one pops out. Shouldn’t do but better safe than sorry.
