Today, I cleaned some bird sh*t off the soft top. I'm waiting for some dry weather and my wife to be available during daylight hours to help me put the hard top on, it'll be easier to clean it off that 😊

Good tip but mine had gone a bit delaminated and then been painted by the looks of things so no saving them.

Ordered new wheel bolts, the old ones weren't looking so good and can't stand that. Also, they'll of been over tightened most of their life after the various tyre fitters have done their work. I've never had my car back with properly torqued wheel bolts let along the correct tyre pressures.

The short shifter has to be my next job, the current one is nice and slick but too long for me so would be perfect with it. However, today, I removed one of the rear wheels and stuck it in the back of my Volvo so I can get the nail in it looked at by a tyre place. 

On Friday, she goes in to GCS Horsham to get new track rod arms and traffic arm thingy replaced. I was going to do the track rods myself but their price was good enough for me to get the pro's to do it instead of spending the day cursing at bolts that won't undo.

Today, I cleaned and got the polish out to polish her for the first time. Its a great way to get to know your car, I think. I spot every little blemish and then I know the car and the little blemishes then irritate me.........

I also, changed the side light bulbs for the brightest Led ones I know. They don't glare, as side lights, but they do give out a good level of light and because of the way the lens works on the Boxster and the positioning of the bulb by the headlight, it also whitens the headlight up a little too. This is the first car I've had for a long time without Xenons so this was a must because I don't want to go down the route of some crappy headlight conversion that looks blue, nobody wants that.

It's the little things......

Today I removed the glue outline to an old tax disc holder that must have been on the screen once, the last owner left it on before I bought the car last Sunday - That sort of thing really bugs me...

Next job is to clear the MOT advisory list!
