Booked my car in with Cotswold Porsche for some work :window regulator ,brake fluid change, new rear springs and top mounts ,coolant x over pipes coolant flush and recharge ,long AC pipe and regas and a 4 wheel alignment !! I’ve had the car couple of years now and not really spent a lot on it as I have done all servicing and brake replacements my self.At least it will be ready if we ever get out of lockdown 🤞

Yes all good it fitted perfectly no issues .TBH there was nothing wrong with the old belt so kept as a back up .👍👌

I have a 987.1 and it’s a 2007 , the 2115s are way to small and I think would damage something it i could get them on , the 2160 fit it just like on all the you tube videos really easy to fit , I might try and buy another 2160

Possibly I have had the same thought , my car has AC and the retailers didn’t give any choices regarding AC or None AC ,

Tried to fit serpentine belt BUT the replacement belts are far too small , both ordered using my registration Gates belt 6PK 2115 and Dayco belt 6PK 2115 ,when i removed the belt currently on my car it’s a Dayco 6PK 2160 ,?????

The plugs were from ECP the coil packs were recommended on here seller got excellent feed back they come fully boxed wrapped with extra long new bolts with spline fitting all in sealed packets .They seem genuine to me , but they can’t be any worse than the ones i took off 😄

changed all my coil packs and spark plugs £100 for 6 off eBay Beru .Every one was cracked but the car ran sweet as a nut 👍

Contrats on passing your MOT, nice.
I had my first MOT with my 2010 2.9 in August (owned 1 year last August). What a mare! Long story short after having a 'proper service' (1.9k) at Porsche and 1 week later the MOT failed on the Xenon light washers not working, went back to Porsche who told me they were checked but the fuse was missing from the fuse holder??!! Where'd it go I wonder? MOT man did not even know where the fuse box was. Having some OPC trust issues here people!
Car is all good now, infact it is stunning......
Thanks and glad yours is sorted 👍👍

MOT day , 987 Boxster ,Passed with flying colours and emissions straight to green I think the Italian tune up helped 👍.I have only had the car since the summer and done loads of jobs thanks to all the help and tips from this forum, but the first MOT in my ownership was always going to be a little worrying 106k in the clock and all good , The tester noticed a few of the aluminium heat shield retaining bolts were not doing their job as the shield had corroded around the nut,he had some over size star washers that simply went over the existing fitting and did the job so simple (I snapped one trying to sort it lol) I will post a pic later and a part number one of the best hacks for this I have seen ,at least I can spend the MOT reserve fund on a wheel refurb and AC pipe , Great car and forum 👍
