Information for the original poster (OP)

Incorrect bleeding will give similar symptoms.

Try raising the rear of the vehicle and locate the bleed flap(lift it up vertical) below a cover where the dipstick lives in the boot.

Idle the vehicle and include holding the revs to 2500rpm for a couple of minutes each time.

Yep tried aswell, i thought it was that first of all because id just had my water pump changed so it made sense.

Maybe i need to go down that road again, would be much easier to tick off the sensor if i could somehow test them???

  2. Evening All.

So yes of course i googled this and it mainly came up with the cabin sensor so i bought a 2nd hand one from ebay, fitted it today and therer's no difference. Of course i could have been sent another duff one but what other issues could cause the same thing.

I will say its not COLD until on HI there is some slight heat at above 26.

Any suggestions? Can the cabin sensor be tested to put tht to bed?

  3. First year of ownership so getting thru the things that need doing.

Oil change with a new filter and i was glad to see the filter was nice and clean not little nasty particals.

    New air filter aswell.

It goes into Jaz wednesday for a tranny oil change.

Next thing on the hit list is finding out what is knocking from the front drivers side, there's 2 pipes the run down the underneath of the car and go up the wheel arch and into the bonnet area one of the pipes wiggles anf knocks agaginst the bodywork ive done a little bodge job to see if that sorts it ill know tomorrow on my way to work, if not i think the drop link maybe the next thing to look at as the rubber is a bit perished.

  4. Replace the AOS as she was smoking like a bitch.

2004 Anni, managed to get the bottom clip off with finger stength but here's a top tip when i put the new one in i pinched the clip with pliers and used a small cable tie to keep the clip open and once in place i just cut it BOOM.

Just took her down the A10 for a 130mph blast all better now
