Thanks for feedback and contributions.
next question is can anyone share a link for an effective but reasonable Bluetooth battery monitor that has actually worked for them.I have this BM2 battery monitor fitted to the car and my bikes.
It's been on the Porsche for at least 18 months now, not given me any trouble. As regards to battery drain, I've never noticed it an issue on the bikes, and they have a lot smaller batteries.

Another vote for the CTEK MXS-5.
I've got a plug hardwired onto the battery. I also have a Bluetooth battery monitor on the battery, which provides cranking and charging information via an app, so I know when to get it on the optimiser.

Don't buy cheap. I deal with a lot of leisure batteries. There is a lot of cheap Chinese Shyte out there.
I would personally always go the best brand you can afford.

Everyone's circumstances are different so whatever works for you - but an honest question. - rather than hookup a monitor, why not just hook up the optimiser and leave it to do it's thing?
For me, its about location of the car. I've got a garage full of bikes, one drive used for an EV, whilst the Porsche and the wife's car take up the second drive, so it's not easy to keep it on the optimiser. Hence the BT monitor. 👍

When I had to change the dead battery last year, I also opted to fit a Bluetooth monitor. As the car doesn't get used much, I can tell from the app when it needs to go on the Optimiser. I'm thinking of getting one for the Bikes as well.

Your going to need to try and get the same rolling radius.
So as Pete has suggested, the sidewall profile size should increase as the wheel size decreases.
I would expect the 40 ratio would be the correct all the way round.
I have 19"'s on my 987 and they are 35's all round.

Paid no where near that for my RS60 last year!
Thinking I might sell it if it's attracting those sorts of prices! 🤣

+another one for Halfords!
Had to replace a Chinese shyatee one, that lasted 3 lifts before the seals went, so won't be getting on off 'bay of thieves' again!
Fiting new battery.

When I changed mine, I over thought it. Bought a battery save devise that connects into the OBD, but never used it.
Swapped it straight out, but only had the PSM error, which was soon sorted with a trip round the block.
Easiest way to change it is to put some old carpet in the boot (front), disconnect the battery, stand in the boot and lift the battery out!
