Does anyone know if a deflector for a 718 will fit a 981? Widens my search a little if it does!

Why just the 718 and not the 981? Are there mesh filters on the 981? If so, I must take a closer look!

Being forced to change something that not's even covered by the warranty seems - how can I put this nicely - harsh.

Had my Boxster MOT'd for the first time in my ownership - flew through with no advisories. Result!

My 981 is due a 6 year service in October so I’ve contacted 4 relatively local OPCs for quotations for the work. For the service, air filters, belt and brake fluid change I’ve been quoted prices between £1160 and £852 - that’s quite variation for the same work. So much so that I asked for a written breakdown for the job from the lowest to ensure all the items were covered.

No prizes for guessing which one I chose!

I put some Heyner blades on my wife's car and they seem to be good.  German-made and considerably cheaper. Another option perhaps?

The market does seem strange at the moment. There's a boxster on the official Porsche site that is a model year older than mine, with a few thousand miles more than mine and with a lesser spec for £5k more than I paid last September. Long may it last!

Spent a very pleasant hour or 2 with the wife in the Boxster with the top down of course (the car not the wife). Up to the Cat and Fiddle, chatted to some bikers and then an equally pleasant ride home. Roll on the summer.
