Did you put the original tyres onto the new wheels? A tyre centre could check the wheels and tyres are spinning true on the balancing machine this would rule out or confirm wheels or tyres. I would then move onto suspension components.

Mine failed for the same thing we couldn't see or hear a leak but when i removed the clamps, wire brushed and resealed joints the tickover changed slightly and it passed MOT at revisit.

Just had the same thing on a used merc from inchcape both front wheels were buckled.

Dodgy that, too many shades of silver for me.

Can i enquire what is the window problem? Does it rattle when closing the door by any chance ?

They do and thay are faster too. haven't done the OCD wash yet I plan to remove the wheels and clean under the arches etc.

Checked the drains were clear, hovered some leaves out from the battery area then took a trip over to snugbury ice cream up Shropshire way. Car never missed a beat 90 mile or so.

Went for a quick drive out, got the car a but sideways on a roundabout but the traction control deal with it to some extent.
