Lol ...

Halfords ... enough said 🤣
put a tray of kitty litter in the footwell next time
-
I think it’s related to it being under the cover
mine is in the garage and I never run the heater with no issues
it never moves in the winter
-
Need to reach for the mothers to sort out that bad boy lol
not the worst I’ve seen
if it’s a box it will be one of the drip trays on either side of the convertible hatch or the door membrane
although if it’s under a cover it’s prob the damp/ dark conditions that’s allowed that mould to grow

Not entirely sure what the rest of that post is about though 🤣

If you leave the car without the battery it can sometimes revert the car to delivery mode. I had this when I used a kill switch to save my battery
requires handshake procedure by PWIS

Yes Castrol SRF it’s the racing counterpart
they do Castrol react however I believe this is not quite the same as super dot 4 as is recommended
regardless CASTROL SRF has given me no problems over the lifetime of the car and as mentioned my pedal is quite solid / clutch stroke very smooth
I notice when i bleed every second year the fluid comes out nice and golden

Pilot sport 4 S*

I use Castrol super dot 4 and cycle the ABS / bleed the clutch. Leaves the pedal solid and gives a smooth clutch.

I was always impressed with the brakes on my car from original purchase. Pedal was always firm. However after braided lines (some say snake oil) replaced end of life rubber hoses, my pedal is solid.

The new PS4’s make a night and day difference
I think they offer more grip in the wet and give more confidence on dry vs what I can remember from brand new PS2 and SS
I had mine mounted on a Hunter machine as well for the first time

I would be worried if it didn’t have at least some battles scars. These cars do better when they are driven. Congrats

a cheeky little 40 mile blast around the countryside.
roof down, heated seats and heater on flat out.
wonderful, just wonderful driving.
the day I even consider garaging my 987 over winter is the day it goes up for sale.
A brave man it’s -3 in Scotland 🏴

I was thinking about the swap myself for a while at £80 for the part and £20 for a fluid change seems cheap
are you using the durametric to cycle the abs system and flushing the clutch or just doing a standard for Calliper bleed

Check engine P2198
Bank 2s2 reading of 0.05 doesn’t really fluctuate
Bank 1s2 is 0.585
Bank 1s1 is 0
Bank 2s1 is 0.047Getting fault code p2198
Any help would be great, I’ve only just recently replaced every o2 sensor. The problem existed before replacing these

I don't remember seeing that term on here ever - but it sounds vaguely like an AOS...
Had the AOS done recently, this is another valve that is apparently quite common. Although until my indie told me about it hadn’t heard it mentioned on the forums. The pipe and valve is £429 from Porsche. I will install myself.
