It's fixed! I got a Uro one from Euro car parts, £125 with a lifetime warranty, allegedly!
Easy enough to do, one left over screw and only destroyed two trim clips! 😂

Righto, thank you 👍

Hi All
I think I've just had my first breakage!
I jumped in, shut my door and heard a reassuringly expensive clunk and now when I operate the window it makes expensive, nasty noises! I'm fairly sure the regulator has gone but it's dark and I can't be arsed to look!
Would there be anything else that goes?
I searched regulators on ebay, 90 odd quid but then it also threw up regulator repair kits. Do any of you have experience with these? I'm keen at under a tenner but also very dubious!
Cheers, Bob (987.1)

A few jobs today, new battery, LED interior light upgrade as per earlier ebay link, wash, quick detail, tyre gel, stare lovingly!
Recently I've been furiously washing my headlights after finding the button on the wiper stalk!

Went into town, used the single lane high wall up both sides route purely for the noise! Noticed there were was a Taycan behind me so gave it a bit extra to make up for him! :D:D

I'd pop a fuse inline near the positive terminal somewhere. Great idea though!

👍 That's good then, they done 99% of the job and there shouldn't have been much if any air left in the system and negligible difference in the fluid. Thanks for clarifying 👍
Changing brake fluid isn't like changing engine oil, you don't drain it all out, just flush new through so there is no air ingress

Today I wanted to see if my jet would fit in the car, doesn't go in the trunk but fits nicely in the frunk!
There was slightly more room after an(other) unsuccessful sortie!
Currently sat holding it together waiting for the glue to set, again!

I drive a van for work some getting in the car is fun every time!

I've done the snorkel thing today, not 100% convinced I like it.
Turned the traction off and got a bit sideways out of a junction, 100% love this!

Gates probably make the belt that Porsche supply, they make a lot of OEM stuff. Would not hesitate to fit Gates on any car.

Scratched my bonnet removing bird poo...didn't want the poo to mark the paint! 😒

Strictly speaking this wasn't today but my genius strawberry milkshake bottle holder needs to be shared! (haven't tested it on other flavours, because I only like strawberry)

No idea which option was ticked but mine have the Porsche logo embossed on the headrests 😎

Quick wash and wipe down then a nice run out in the sun! 😎

Fuel gauges are inaccurate at best, the expected range thing is worse, on all cars!
Speaking as someone who has to attend people who have run out of fuel, don't rely on either measurement! 😂😂😂⛽⛽👍

Wheels today!
Took them all off and cleaned them. Then I fitted my Porsche dust caps, with lube. Aligned my centre caps to the dust caps.
I refitted the wheels with spacers, 7mm at the front and 15mm at the back. This included shiny new studs too, with the locking nut lined up with the crests, obvs! 😂
Very happy with it all, looks better and feels nicer to drive, though I should add that I also corrected the tyre pressures.

DRL hack, wash, quick detail, tyre gel.
Heading out for a tootle around shortly 😎

Not all today but recently I have,
Fitted LED front side lights and fog lights.
Replaced the faulty GPS antenna with an 8 quid generic one off ebay, works a treat!
Bought some CDs to test the multi changer, works!
Fitted an ipod dock bluetooth adapter under the armrest, can now stream music too... I don't because the engine sounds so nice!
Finally, for now, swapped the euro plates out for plain ones and also added a surround on the rear

Well my car is here and sure enough, it doesn't have the brackets to fit the bars!
I have two bars, nylon inserts, two longer bolts and the black bulkhead bracket.
Open to offers

Good price for AC pipe repair?

I'm in a similar situation, had the car just over a year and the Aircon didn't work when I got it.
Long story short, Kwik Fit did my wheel alignment, snapped a coolant pipe, regassed my Aircon by way of an apology.
It was ok but has since packed in so must have a leak somewhere. I'm just curious, mine was noisy as f... erm, it was really loud! Like gassy noises from under the dash, unlike anything I've ever heard. Just wondering if it's normal or something to do with the leak?
