Long post alert!!

2000 2.7 with IPD plenum, 74mm throttle body, ipd intake pipe, evolution motorsport cone air filter and maf housing. 

I have a recurring MAF fault, I’ve fitted 2 Bosch Maf’s still have poor idle, car bogs down when pulling away at junctions. Pops back through the intake. If I disconnect the Maf it runs great. 
I’ve also replaced plugs, coil packs. I found a split it the oil filler pipe which is now fixed. I’ve checked all pipes for vacuum leaks etc. Can’t find any other faults and diagnostics only coming up with maf sensor.

Anyone had this issue?

I’ve only had the car 3 weeks and I’m wondering if the size of the intake pipes and maf housing is affecting the standard maf readings.

Thanks for your help so far. I got an hour this afternoon and plugged the car in, when  I’m in instruments I can operate the lever and see it switching on the diagnostics but nothing changes on the dash, however if I pull it towards me it will reset the mileage trip. Can’t work out why it’s still not working.

My 2000 986 came from the factory with the multifunction computer, the stalk is there but nothing changes on the dash when I operate it,  would be nice to get it working again. As anyone ever had this issue?
