First Boxster (986) purchased new in 2002.Sold in 2016 14yrs old and replaced with new Boxster 718. Still have it in my garage. At 78 yrs of age me that is not the car I can't see me ever selling it. Both cars have given me so much pleasure over the years.

My father never had a car. Just as well as he would have invented ROAD RAGE.

Made the right choice 7 years ago. Love the car.

I sold my 986 on Pistonheads within a week or so. The cost then (6 yrs. ago) was about £14.

I also had the recall about 2 years ago. I just rang Tonbridge Porsche and was informed that the mesh grills fitted at the time are not up to scratch. booked the car in for replacements.

I have a 2016 718. The seat heating has three settings. I find the level of heating more than enough. You are correct the heating will cool down as you go on. This is the norm. I don’t think you have a problem. 

Were you not aware of the coming change of weather in the coming months prior to your test drive ? 

Very good value at £35.

Bought mine in 2016. Fair weather only car.( 10000 miles ) Been perfect.
