Can you buy the emblems then? Mine look tired
Yep plenty on ebay for under £3. The OPC ones are around £12.

Anyone have any suggestions for removing the original colour crest without damaging the key case. I want to replace the originals as they have worn over time.

I would go back to your OPC. I have Gentian blue ones which were fitted from new and no chipping whatsoever in 2 years and 7K miles.

Wait, you bought a 4.0 GTS for comfort touring?
I like to get off main roads sonetimes and some of the lanes etc don't lend themselves to speed.

My GTS 4.0 is 2 years old today so it went into my local OPC for a minor service and brake fluid change.I shopped around OPC's within a 100 miles of home for prices and thankfully my local dealership were the cheapest. £880 for the privilege. Will be interesting to see what I decide to do when it's due its 4 year Major.

+1 OEM

Rears are 265 on 20 inch rims. I mainly use the car for touring hence the comfort pressures.

What are your tyre pressures set to ?
2.1 bar all round.

You did well to get 11K out of the Pirelli's on your rear. Mine are on 7K and they are pretty much done and I drive sedately most of the time.

Flew through the MOT which maintains its 100% first time pass rate. Major service, spark plugs and brake fluid change completed by my Indie. 12 months road tax purchased. Might have to wait a little while until I fill it up with Momentum.

Nothing yet, at 5 years in.
I wanted to learn how these things work, saw an opportunity to buy some sensors which look to be the OE part for not much money and be done for £200 including another tool in the arsenal to be able to diagnose the TPMS sensors on the "fleet", e.g. battery health. It looks like the sensors I've bought will also be a direct drop-in for my daily if I don't end up using them on the Pork.
I've also picked up some replacement OE 718 valve stem kits for not much money, couple of mine look a little gnarly.
I was hoping the originals weren't playing up so early into the cars life. Sounds like a good plan.

Picked up some OE TPMS tyre valves to go with four new VW AG TPMS sensors I’ve hoovered up on eBay for £25. I’ve also bought an Autel TS408 TPMS scanner and coder.
Once the sensors arrive will verify if they really are the OE parts they look to be (they look identical including all the labelling on them). If they look a win I will share the outcome. OE TPMS sensors from an OPC are £120 a corner...
What's up with your existing sensors?

I would save your money for now in respect of the exhaust. With regard to power delivery, I stuck pretty rigidly to the running in guidelines and it does feel the engine has benefitted. It puts down the power smoothly right through the rev range and the engine note is fantastic above 4,000 revs.
-
My CGTS 4.0 is coming up to 7K miles and the exhaust note has vastly improved from when it was new. So much so that when I recently took it to my detailers recently he asked me if I had changed the exhaust from when he first had the car 2 years ago.

Correct these are my kits... but I'm not allowed to advertise on here (understandably). I do have an advert on 987 owners FB page.. or the link is there
I have fitted one of @Laney456 kits and they are superb. Concise instructions and all bulbs clearly labelled.

Thanks for clarifying the price and also the feedback on Northway. I will certainly bear them in mind when my 4 yearly service is due 👍
