Thanks for the replies so far guys, the comments are echoing my thoughts on the car. My main concern is the price as it seems expensive in the current market which looks set to drop soon even lower so it could be a very expensive car then.
The main attraction to me is the colour and the spec and also the fact its up the road form my house.
The car will be daily driven and i expect to loose some money but don't really want to loose to much.
I am away at the end of the week and very busy so i may see if its around when i come back and go from there.
Seems a good price to me from a trusted dealer.

It was £185 plus postage of £9.99. If using the exchange service you also pay £150 deposit which is refunded once you return the extra steering wheel.
Seems pretty reasonable, assume it makes the wheel a bit thicker ?

Think i may have been lucky as it seems one of the inner bolts holding it on was missing- not sure where that went! but have replaced it and seems to be holding firm.

Anyone know how many sections there are ? Without getting under it I can’t really tell

Last couple of times whilst doing motorway sort of speeds Ive heard a flapping sound and on inspection tonight it looks to be cracked under drivers seat area and is obviously flapping at speed. Anyone else had this and what did you end up doing ? Don’t know if I can do a temporary fix till it’s next service as it’s not too bad at the moment.

Thanks

Local paint-less dent guy removed a couple of small dink's on the nearside front wing and rear quarter-panel.
No photos worth showing as he did a great job and I can't see where's he's worked.
Who did you use if you don't mind me asking as im in herts as well and always good to know a recommendation.

Ok thanks all think I will give it a go!

Mine are looking a little tired and wondering how easy it is to put the new ones on? Seen a set on ebay but don't want to mess it up when applying them.
-
How big a job is it to change them ?
-
-
The people that have them fitted did you bother telling the insurance company given they have no actual power change ?

15-16k seems normal for a porsche dealer, got mine from mortimers and was in that ball park.
