Mine went to MLR in Fenton for a pamper day.

Full service, oil, oil filter, air filter, pollen filter, spark plugs, aux belt, brake fluid, PDF oil, gear set oil and a good look over.

Came back with a clean bill of health and ready to be driven!

Feels a LOT smoother all round as well.

Thanks, tried a new 15A fuse but the no difference, button not working.

I did establish that the spoiler is actually deploying properly at speed though.

Stuck a couple of lengths of detailing tape between the spoiler and bodywork and went for a spin.

When I got back the tape had clearly come off the spoiler and then got stuck underneath it as it had gone up then back down again.

I can live without the button working now I know the spoiler is.

Took the 987.2 out for it's first run this year yesterday and decided to press every button on the centre console to check everything is working as it should.

Everything did apart from the spoiler raise button, which did nothing and no light came on.

Also opened and closed the roof several times with no issues.

Went for a drive along a section of <ahem> 'private road' to get up to 80mph expecting a spoiler not deployed type warning but nope, nothing.

I can't actually see if the spoiler was up or not but assume the lack of error message means it was?

So is this a failure of the button, or a fuse, or....??

PS It sits on a trickle charger if I'm not using over the winter, and started first turn of the key so battery appears all good too.

Good spot, 'tis indeed Tixall Gatehouse just down the road as I'm in Great Haywood.  I had five black cars on the bounce once and swore never to have another one.  Fail!

Apologies for the wheel centres alignment and no, unfortunately that's not my fence...

PCM bluetooth is odd, it's shown as 'PCM' and also sometimes 'Handsfree' on my phone when trying to connect - just picked up a new iPhone 14 Pro.

I've been a lurker for a while but picked up my 987.2 Boxster 2.9 PDK yesterday, so popped in to say 'Hi'.

Had a Macan SD a few years ago and it had quite a few niggles so largely got a 718 Boxster/Cayman as a courtesy car.  Couldn't run to a 718 as a second car but the 987 seemed good value.

It's Basalt Black, 19" wheels, full heated leather, MFSW, rain sensor, sat nav and probably something I've forgotten. Plus FSH, a new MOT, headlights polished, wheels balance and tracking done.

Loving it so far! Only issue is I can't seem to connect my phone to the PCM, tried many, many times but it keeps failing!
