  1. Just now, fizz said:

Night breaker here too and deffo noticeably brighter compared to the standard h7 bulbs mine came with.

Shorter lifespan but considering how easy they are to change and in comparison to the lack of mpg we get its worth it money wise.

I very rarely go out at night, the standards are just pants when I do

  2. I bought a lovely 1988 2.5 triptronic with 46k

Had it 5 months and noticed a small oil leak. had it looked at by my local independent Porsche garage. Very little use and problem was a perished main seal. I had upgraded IMS bearing changed with ceramic bearings while they were already there. Cost was just shy of £1600

  3. New to Porsche, just worried after reading about the IMS. only had car 6 months, ive used very little and its started a tiny oil leak that wasnt there. About 8ish drops on garage floor after been out then stops until the next time. Very confusing.

Cars a 1998 2.5 tronic auto with 47k, fully serviced by an indy Porsche specialist

  4. Thanks for advice . I have heard about the dreaded IMS. Ive only had for 2 months and had no leak’s when I got it. I rarely use it but obviously it’s a concern

  5. Evening. 1998 2.5 t-tronic.

when I go out I notice on the garage floor about 5-6 drops of Oil in the middle area from my last run out. No noises or rattles, been reading about the dreaded IMS bearing. Could it be or any other common faults anybody knows of?
