That's good to know . I may have another 10 years life in the clutch from what I hear. 

The car is still on it's original clutch so I hope I'm not going to be hit with another 1k plus any time soon. I do drive it sympathetically and rarely exceed 5000 revs. 

They only fit OEM parts as far as I know.

Just collected my 987.1 from my local indy. I dropped it in to them to see if they could locate the problem. They advised me not to drive as the water pump was hanging off. They had a cancellation so was able to work on it that day.New water pump and alternator belt delivered to them lunchtime and car was ready same day

Fantastic service, I've used them for last 8 years and have the car serviced  annually. It's  now running beautifully again.

My 987 boxster s has done 94k. I've had it for 8 years and have it serviced annually. It's  recently developed what sounds like a rubbing noise which is constant while moving but dissappear es when the clutch is depressed .Any ideas what it could be?
