986 failed its MOT on emmisions
I had picked up on my Durametic before the MOT that the banks 1 post cat lambda sensor need to be changed
I actually changed the Cat on bank 1 and the pre and post Lambda sensors
Due to circumstances I had not done many miles before the MOT 40-50 miles only
I have now checked again on the Durametic and I do not have any fault codes and on the live data it appears to be ok
I have recently Cleaned the MAF sensor just as part of routine mainteneance
Does anyone have any suggestions on what the problem may be before I go for Bank 2 cat and Lambda sensors replacement??
im having a problem with o2 bad on bank2 , but can you tell me which bank is bank 2? conflicting information on google

I used OEM Porsche transmission oil. Only needed 1litre for my car from empty so decided to stick with recommended. My car has a tip gearbox so the final drive and and the transmission are different oils. I believe a manual box uses the same in both! But please check.
yes thanks , you are correct diff and atf fluid are different on tip, i know its 75w90 gear oil for diff, just wondered what brand you used

Beru (who are the OE supplier to Porsche) ZS177 or ZS178 will do the job for the coil packs, about £20 each, so £120 for the full set from somewhere like Autodoc if you can wait a week for them to ship in from Europe to the UK. The new items come with new rubber sleeves and the longer or shorter fixing bolts included.
Where are you located?
if you can get coil packs for £20 each ill buy them all, its at least double that each, autodoc or anywhere

How about the seal around the mirror 'triangle'. This seal being not seated well or being worn out causes sometimes leaks to the doorcard.
will check this out thanks

Just had all 4 arches professionally done. The rest of the car is mint so wanted it done properly. Garage said they were impressed with how little damage there was compared to how they looked. So my advice is to do what I did. First sign of trouble get them done properly.

Hi it doesnt matter what design clip pliers you use because most of the time the stupid clip is innaccessible to anything, it spins against the block and needs up in the air and cut off, good luck, ps i have tried this
