Hi - the stitching on the window of the canvas roof on my 2001 986 has perished.   I have found 2 firms which can repair this for about £250.  One in cheshire another in Liverpool.   They move the roof, attach a new window and put it back on.   They both promise the new window is bonded to original hood using the same method as used in the factory.  Has anyone had any experience of this ?  I'm trying to avoid buying a whole new roof for £1500+.  Cheers

Hi - firstly apologies for reporting what may be in previous threads but search functionality on this forum seems like it needs a tune up 🙂

I'm looking for recommendations of window regulators for a 2001 986.   I'd like genuine parts but as I need both sides I'm trying to keep costs down.  I can see on ECP AC Roller and Starline regulators at approx £150 each.    Any other suggestions would be appreciated ?  I don't want to get used ones.
