A friend invited me to drive his 15 year old 987S, used as a daily runner with 125,000miles and only garaged in the last two years. Couldn't believe how tight and well screwed together it felt. Used an indie for most of that time, too.

Greenman, I like your logic!
Just the one, then

thanks all, for the above.
Its a difficult call now whether to do one, or both?
i.e if they fail at random, "bad batch" and so on, likelihood is that the opposite side could also be affected.

thanks Patt
it feels like jelly.
It's just I need to keep it ticking over from time to time as we await the return of normal service. (the bill sounds far from normal, tho')

PADM warning just happened to me.
981S, 2014, 27,000 miles. Didn't extend the warranty.
Done OK up until now, Looks like over three years' warranty savings about to be wiped out. Its anybody's guess when repairers will open again, is it safe to drive ? (for essential shopping obviously!)
Anyone had their 981 10 year service recently?

I'm faced with the same dilemma. Car is 2014 . My 8 year service at OPC in Jan cost £1,100. Bought as ex demo 2months old, full OPC history to date.
Can anyone suggest why I should stay with OPC prices? You'll have read about us pensioners in fuel poverty, so with no plans to sell it, surely using an indie has got to be the sensible way forward?
PS based in Cheshire btw, anybody used WeissachUK in Middlewich?
