Revolution Porsche

I have a 987 2006 manual. Bought it with a M/F STEERING WHEEL ,(original wheel not m/f), SPORT PLUS LAUNCH CONTROL.

I obviously cant use the flappy paddles or the launch control, but am struggling getting the horn to work.

MOT of overdue (NO horn is MOT failure!).

Its in Dick Lovetts in Tewksbury who want to take it off and put a new wheel on as original spec. (but new) and charge me £700.

I'd like to keep the wheel, (and not pay £700) what can I do to keep it.

Suggestions please.
