Occasionally get condensation in my chrono clock but soon goes during driving .

Had the wheel alignment/geometry sorted by Center Gravity in Atherstone yesterday - very thorough and all work explained during alterations .WOW what a difference - well worth the outlay 😄

Passed MOT with no advisories 😁- 11,375 miles last year - 11,477 year before - consistent !

Agree colour is totally down to personal taste - Crayon reminds me of the colour of filler - sorry but artic grey reminds me of the first vehicle i drove, a Ferguson T20 tractor 🤣. Guards Red is obviously the best ( my Boxster is Carrera White metallic) ! 😄

This evening I appreciated how good the LED PDLS+ is in adverse weather.
Agree lights are good but have found in heavy rain they don't seem to automatically dip soon enough for oncoming traffic.
Be warned replacement headlights are expensive - circa £2,500 !!

Got home from a countryside run yesterday to hear an extra noise I didn’t need. Only happened when the engine was on but not linked to revs which was a sigh of relief.
Prised off the intake shroud and with a torch I spotted this.
5 mins later leaf retrieved, noise gone.
Typically there was mild panic as I had a leaf and also now a bit of sticky tape joining it on the fan 🫣
Luckily managed to convince it to stick back on my stick again 🙂👍
I've had this problem a couple of times - recommend side intake grills - Zunsport or grills from Radiatorgrillstore as recommended by @Lonewolfgjp which i used but are expensive !

Thankyou for the info - will do some more investigation before I decide what to do - guessing a new headlight price with fitting would be astronominical 😳

If you can get past the red interior the first one has a lot better list of options including PSE !

Has anyone tried something like these?
Got to be worth it for the price?
I have tried them in the past - didn't have much success which could be down to me ! Very fiddly to place correctly and after time dirt seemed to get under them but that could have been the numpty that fitted them 😂
-
That's not surprising - cleanest and shiniest car I've seen 👍

12k a year - doing the weekly shop to Aldi puts miles on (20 miles each way )😂Bought the 718 on Nov 1st - done 2,150 so far - loving it

992 4S with Aerokit please - recently spoke to guy who had a 992 Turbo S- said it was too fast to enjoy everyday breaking the speed limit in 2nd gear ! He does however have a few other Porches including a 930 LE,911 Heritage and new Boxster 25 anniversary .

Have had a terrible noise coming from front of car for a while now - traced it to front wheel bearing . Local garage
fixed it today . 2 bearings ,discs and pads done at same time time .Great job
-
Neil , Hope you've had your op ok and getting better .. Being fit should help your recovery time no end .
-
I would not recommend it -- 50/50 chance , better safe than sorry.
-
Yes only small but gradually got worse ! Sorry for bad news - it could be RMS which is not so expensive but if oil is coming from that area it’s a gearbox off job anyway .
-
I can only speak from experience - don't drive car unnecessarily ! I had same oil leak on a 986 years ago ,only leaked when hot. Indie specialist took gearbox off car and ran engine for over an hour before before oil weeped out of IMS bearing - the crankshaft was moving a couple of microns North to South .
Fingers crossed it not the same problem for you .Ade

Wow 👍 Looking forward to seeing that on a Bridgnorth run --- probably in the distance 😂 Great spec ! Good luck with the op .

I've had this problem myself on a 987 - make sure that they renew the handbrake shoe springs aswell- they could fail if used again. Could save you a lot of money in the long run - i speak for experience !
